Use this award to recognize outstanding students in your class. On this award there is space for the student's name, a description of their achievement, teacher's signature, and date. It includes a fall leaf and acorn border. Teachers can award students for improved behavior, academic achievement, attendance, or any other notable accomplishments in the classroom. Don't give out an award unless a student has done something truly commendable. On the other hand, you do want to seek out students' special strengths or improvements, whatever they may be, and award them.
