Keep track of students completed work by using this Indian Chief head and feathers. Students color the chief's head and write their name on its headband. As students complete their work they are given a feather to glue onto the headband. Feather includes lines for the date, description of work completed, and teacher's signature.

Teaching Tips

Each week, during the month of November, give students a new Chief head. Set goals with the students as to how many feathers they should have at the end of the week. Award students who have achieved their goal. Use the feathers to have students retell
