Using the consonant-vowel-consonant-silent e rule students will look at words in bones and mark each long o and silent e as in the examples provided. They then will finish each picture to show the words.

Teaching Tips

Some students may have difficulty identifying some of these objects so review the names of each picture before your students begin to insure success.
