Decorate a bulletin board with wooden shoes in celebration of Sinterklaas Day, a Christmas celebration in Holland. Mount wooden shoes on bulletin board. Children cut out and color the carrot and oats and place them in the shoe.

Teaching Tips

After December 6, have students replace the shoes with pictures of presents bought by Sinterklaas.
