This four-page test was culled from the reading skills practice tests provided three times a year to Scholastic News Edition 4 subscribers, with some new and revised material. By familiarizing children with the skills, language, and formats they will encounter on state and national tests, like the Terra Nova, ITBS, CTBS, and MAT, this practice test will boost confidence and help raise scores.

(Practice tests 1-7 are slightly less difficult than practice tests 8-15. They are designed to be given in the first half of the school year.)
